“For me wala namang malisya, or wala naman akong kailangang itago kasi it was with my friends lang,” Adarna nonchalantly told “24 Oras” in a taped interview aired on March 8.
In January this year, about five photos began circulating the Internet showing a girl who looked like Adarna in the company of boys at a karaoke bar. The girl looked like she already had too much to drink that she ended up passing out on the floor in one photo, and on the couch with two guys in the other.
Another photo shows the girl kissing a guy on the cheek while he carries her.
The 22-year old “Bubble Gang” mainstay then clarified that those photos were taken years ago at their house in Cebu, not at a bar, and that it was a gathering with her friends and her brother.
“Those pictures were taken, siguro 3 [or] 4 years ago. Ang bata-bata ko pa no'n. 'Yung pictures na 'yun, sa bahay namin [kinunan] 'yun.
“May KTV kami sa bahay, tapos kita mo yung suot ko pambahay lang. Sa bahay lang namin 'yun,” she stressed.
Meanwhile, Adarna is set to appear as a sexy super heroine in the upcoming TV adaptation of “Captain Barbell.”
The “KTV pictures” isn’t the first "scandal" that Adarna has dealt with. Various photos that allegedly showed her in different compromising situations have already surfaced online in the past; however, she has claimed in earlier interviews that these were just “doctored.”
Aside from this, the self-confessed wild child also graced the covers of numerous glossies, including a couple of men’s magazines where she even posed topless for one.
More, Adarna was once dubbed as the “Paris Hilton of the Philippines” as her parents, like the Hiltons of the US, own a chain of hotels in Cebu, Davao and Manila.
